Hello, I am looking forward to your review as I am a 43 year old male who finally bit the bullet and had a procedure done at Bosley yesterday. The doc recommended some sort of laser therapy to keep the hair I have and I ran across this product on Amazon. I am looking forward to some real world testing before I spend that kind of money on a product. Good luck to you as I hope it gives you the results we all hope for!
I am using it right now but too early to tell. I am following the schedule of sessions diligently and have the thinner hair on top with small but noticeable hair follicles and am not on any drugs. Just regular male pattern hair thinning. So I feel I am the perfect candidate who they say this will work for. I feel six months is enough time to see if this is snake oil fake and a scam or the real deal. Believe me, I will tell you which this is. I am on my second week of usage. I look forward to letting everyone know how I make out and can make an honest judgement.
GrivaMax laser cap, without doubt, best enhances and prevents the degradation of  hair growth. You can trust this clinically proven product as the FDA have cleared it. The product works nonsurgical, safe, very efficient and less expensive compared to other products of its kind. Very portable and comes with a case which aids convenience for travel cases. You have a one year warranty with this product in which you can return it if you don’t like it after six months of usage. The best things about the laser cap includes the fact that this product falls void of any kind of side effects.
I've been using the i-Grow for just under 4 weeks now and the jury is still out. I am noticing some re-growth around my hairline but the new hair is very fine. I take this as a promising sign of things to come and better results than I've seen with Rogaine and similar products. Hoping that the new hair will start to grow in thicker. Have read a lot of good things about the system so based on this and my initial results, I am optimistic! Will provide future updates...

I just started with the igrow. I have hair loss due to taking accutane(isotretinoin). It started after taking it and has gotten progressively worse. After being off for two years I continue to loose a lot of hair. I am near balding on top my head with a receded hairline. Hair loss doesn’t run in my family until late 40’s and early 50’s. Whether my hair loss is just drug induced, or maybe accutane just sped up my genetic hair loss I was destined to have at a much later time, I will bookmark this site and try to update you guys if I have any results at a later time.
Bought the Igrow a year ago but learned alot about it after buying it. The product might be effective preventing hair loss but definitely alot better products out there. Igrow uses a mix of laser and led. LED does nothing for you, its a scam them make to more money. What helps is the laser or diode. The more diodes the better for hair. Hope you guys wont make the same mistake I did.
Lori is right! My iGrow arrived yesterday, it was still on when I fell asleep, and my goodness I woke up this morning with the head full of hair! Not only that – it was totally blond (before it was brownish), one of those splendid platinum shades you can rarely see in ordinary falks on the street. My worry now is that it may cost me a fortune to get it cut every other day. You ought to be careful with these inventions – no wonder people who announced here to do an honest test months later disappear into thin air.
Sorry Lori but you’ve tipped your hand. Lori’s timeline, thats a long time after her initial testimony to have the urge to keep coming back here to defend this product. Notice how her hairstylist is soooooo excited to cut her new hair…. I mean common. So does she also work for QVC cause shes quoting their no risk you got nothing to lose like a 3am infomercial. And yeah caught that one too, one day of non use and she could tell her hair suffered from that. Sorry Lori waaaaay toooo many one sided persuasive arguments. Be vigil people, when reading reviews a tip is to ignore positive reviews and focus on the negatives. Generally negative reviews are real, see what the complaints are focused towards and if the product is what it claims there will be minimal complaints. Hope that helps. Lori lol, i wonder what her, or more likely his real name is…

The hair rejuvenation solution for the 21st century. Kill the comb over and check out the Apira Science's iGrow Helmet, a stylish new wearable device that packs 21 laser diodes and 30 LED lights. The iGrow Helmet is a hair-growing helmet designed to mimic the effects clinical hair lasers. The iGrow Helmet includes a remote that has been programmed for both men and women, and it has a built-in set of headphones that you can use with your own iPod or MP3 player - we can't imagine why you'd ever want to take it off. The headphones should make marathon hair regrowth sessions easier to sit through.
2) There have been 6 double-blind clinical studies comparing the HairMax LaserComb to a sham device that have all consistently proven the efficacy and and safety of the device. Further, there have been 6 FDA 510(k) Clearances granted for the HairMax LaserComb. No other device on the market can provide anywhere the number of studies that have proven its efficacy, nor as many FDA reviews., Finally, as listed on this post, no other device has had as many papers published on the results of the clinical trials of their devices in peer review journals, as has the HairMax Laser Comb.
Please when you're choosing your laser device, know that more is not better. You need the optimal amount of energy to get the best result possible. By doing too much, you will actually either cause shedding or you will diminish results completely. Now also too little is not good, but you need just the right amount. Quite frankly, for 70% of the population, the iGrow is providing just the right amount.
Lightweight, comfortable, easy to use, and proven effective, this iRestore LLLT treatment dome received plenty of positive feedback from satisfied men and women. The only real drawback is the inability to set the length of treatment. Overall, the device is reasonably priced and can provide results in a matter of weeks. We gave this model a rating of five stars.

I am losing my hair in my temples, and its see through like a cheap wig across my front hair line. I am a 59 year old woman who used to have great hair. My hair line is mimicking male pattern baldness, with it recessing on either side of the center of my frontal hair line. While my temples are thinning out so badly and progressing towards the sides of my hair. My top hair hides it for now. The back of my head is doing great so far. Which device will help the front hair line, front and sides of my head and temple area best?
The “Lost in Space” Igrow space helmet doesn’t work at all, neither stopping hair loss nor growing new hair, from my $600 experiment with the device, religiously using the device every other day for 7 and one-half months, to the current date, 9/02/2015. Was it a total waste of money? Yes, but one has to weigh the cost of the helmet against other, more costly treatments. So, in that respect, it simply was a costly “crapshoot” that didn’t work.

It’s been 16 weeks since I started testing the iRestore Laser Hair Growth System. Every other day I’ve worn the helmet for a 25-minute session. I did miss a couple days when I was on vacation this summer, but other than that, I’ve been diligent in keeping up with the routine so I could do a real review to see if their claim of thicker and more hair in 16 weeks of using this product was true. As you can tell from the collection of images above, I don’t think the iRestore made my hair grow any faster or thicker and it did not as far as I can tell, cause new hair to grow in the thin spots on the top of my head.

Not satisfied with accepting my hair loss situation as my new normal I immediately went into research mode. I came across a variety of potentially dangerous and messy topical medications and hair transplants. I wasn’t into either of those options. And just when I was beginning to get discouraged, the universe magically provided a potential solution—iGrow, an at-home, FDA-cleared, Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) device that is used to help stimulate hair growth for both men and women. After testing out the unit out for six months I was amazed by the results and wanted to share this option with anyone out there suffering from hair loss looking for a viable solution.

It is an FDA-cleared (not FDA approved, meaning the effectiveness and safety is not rigorously demonstrated.  In contrast, Minoxidil and finasteride are FDA approved ) laser hair therapy system  intended for both men and women who suffer from androgenic alopecia. The device is said to use clinical-strength laser technology in treating both hair loss and thinning hair for men and women. More specifically, it is intended for men between the age range of 18-48 (Norwooed-Hamilton Scale between Class IIa to V )and women between 18-60 years who are suffering from hair loss (Ludwig Savin Scale between Class I to II ) (see image below). The skin type IRestore may work is Fitzpatrick Skin Types  I to VI as shown below.

This is one of the newer options. If you’re an aesthetic type of person like I am, and the idea of wearing a ball cap appeals to you more than wearing a goofy-looking helmet, this may be worth checking out. It doesn’t have the review history or track record of the aforementioned products, but it does appear to be a legitimate and functional product. The Capillus82 features 82 laser diodes, a rechargeable battery back, carrying case, and a 1-year limited warranty. They claim their product has a 95% success rate.
While it is common to lose 50-100 hairs a day, if you are losing more that that, noticing thinning, a receding hair line, or bald spots you may be experiencing hair loss. The American Academy of Dermatology estimates that 80 million men and women in the United States suffer from hair loss, which can be caused by a variety of reasons ranging from disease, hormones, stress, or with the most common cause being hereditary hair loss. Whatever the reason it’s devastating.
am using the igrow since on month now , i feel there is some minor improvement in my hair but i receive it without the shampoo and conditioner which supposed to be included in the offer from apirascience.com and i send several emails to them without any response so am not sure how they will act in money back program if they are not responding for such issue

With built in head phones that can connect to your MP3 player, iPod or anything else with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, you don’t even have to do anything – you could just sit back and relax if you like! Treatment sessions are completely automatic and take just 20-25 minutes. With just two or three sessions required per week, you can see results in as little as 12 weeks and your hair will only continue to improve in strength and thickness from there on in.
I saw the device on Facebook and was ready to buy, you’ve saved me from thinking this will definitely work. I wonder if females with telegen effluvium (like me) have tried the device and if it has worked. My dermatologist has a laser they use for psoriasis that she offered me for my hair loss. $75 a go, so I thought buying a device might be a better way to go.
I want to say two more things and then I am gone. First, you are going to find more expensive and also cheaper machines that promise the same thing as this device. DO YOUR RESEARCH. The more expensive ones are simply that, more expensive. The cheaper ones, well, they are trash. You'll find that the cheap ones are just l.e.d. bulbs and no laser. This type of device will do nothing but aggravate you and waste your time and money. Second thing, and this one you should really take to heart. This device alone, will only do so much. Think of this device as the sun. Think of your hair as the grass. Think of your scalp as the dirt. Your body, more importantly, what you put in it, feeds your scalp. My point is,...diet, namely yours. I'll use myself as an example. I don't smoke. I eat very healthy. I work out. I take the appropriate vitamins and minerals. I clean my scalp with a DHT blocker shampoo. I use a honey based conditioner. I do also use an over the counter minoxidil.
Further the manufacturer puts a claim that the product makes the hair of the user to look rather fuller and thicker making them glow and appear much healthier than before. This is attributed to the fact that there is enhanced cellular activity when using this product that makes the air follicles to receive much energy, nutrients and growth hormones for growth within the adipose tissues of the skin.

Then I ordered my igrow! It's Been 4 wks & though I haven't seen any difference in actual hair loss, I swear my hair feels thicker!!! In only 2 wks I could start to see & feel a difference in my hair. I know it's not possible to have regrowth yet where my hair has been lost or has thinned but my hair does look & feel younger, shinier & healthier! I'm also getting little tiny new hairs growing along my hairline! :) I wish pics could be attached.

I did receive an email from the PR folks for iRestore saying that they could send me their special shampoo and hair serum to try too. I declined that offer because I want to review the iRestore by itself. They also said that it might take as long as 24 weeks to notice positive changes. That differs from the information that came with the iRestore which says it takes 16 weeks. Right now I’m about halfway through the 16 week period. I’ll have another update in a couple weeks.

“I have been using the iGrow for more or less 7 months and I have seen substantial hair growth all over my head. I am so excited, and I have been telling my close friends about the success I have had with the iGrow. I have tried many hair re-growth treatments without any growth at all. Thanks for developing the iGrow… I actually bought another one for my son!” —Julian— Phoenix, Arizona

I am a 50 year old male. My hair is thinning in the usual areas, my crown and my temple. Considering how much people spend on medications and lotions to put on their in an attempt to combat hairless I don’t think the $695 is a bad price. Also if after 6 months you are not happy with the Igrow helmet you can return it for a approximately 90% refund. You do have to pay the shipping cost and the “Re certification” charge. which is probably around $200. I have seen the re certified Igrow helmets out there for around $300. So I am going to try it and see how it goes. what have I got to lose. I would be interested in hearing from other men and woman on their experiences with the product.

Simply select the programme that's most suited to your needs, place the iGrow on your head and let it do its work. iGrow's patented Low Level Light Therapy works directly on the roots of the hair, based on Professor Endre Mester's findings that in the right light, skin cells became healthier and actually grew hair. iGrow has worked on this technology and combined low level laser therapy with red light therapy for the most effective results.
In one trial, conducted by the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, over 100 hundred men and women were given laser combs which they used for 26 weeks. In most cases, those using the laser comb – and not a placebo as was given to other patients – had a noticeable improvement in the thickness and fullness of their hair. Moreover, the improvements weren’t dependent on gender or age.

The iRestore Laser Hair Growth System is clinically proven to treat hair loss for both men and women. Low-level laser therapy is a non-invasive, safe, and clinically proven way to stimulate hair follicles to grow thicker and fuller hair without negative side effects. This powerful medical device uses clinical-strength laser technology to treat balding, thinning hair and receding hairline.

Yes, I am extremely happy and wish that I had found this years ago. I don’t have any connection with the manufacturer, QVC or even with this site. I found out about it from my hairdresser who had heard about it from a client. So I looked it up online and I figured that I had nothing to lose since I bought it on QVC and they are willing to give you your money back after six months trial. I found this site when looking up reviews on it. Now after just six weeks I know I don’t want my money back and I can’t wait to see the results when the six months are up.
I completely understand. It does feel different when you’re female though. I think hair is more important to women and more important to the way people feel about a woman. It’s completely acceptable for a guy to be balding, or have a buzz cut, but not so much for a woman. Case in point, I was recently shopping at Walmart and some older guy in a wheelchair made the unsolicited comment that it looked like someone had done a number on my hair. I asked him what he was talking about and he repeated his comment. I replied that I like to keep my hair very short. Then I turned away and he said “looks like a boy’s haircut to me” I just walked away without saying anything because it took me off guard and kind of embarrassed me. Of course 5 seconds later I was just pissed about it, but it was too late to make a witty comeback.
I was not joking but I am very happy with the Igrow and with my results. I still have superfine hair and that has not changed, but I have much more hair and more body. I have found that I get used to this new hair and forget that I need to maintain it, forgetting to use the Igrow once in awhile, until I notice I’m losing body. When I notice, I go back to using it and it has more life. The Igrow increases the blood flow to the follicles. More blood flow, more body, more hair growth.

I’ve been using the Igrow since November 2015 and it works. I noticed less hair loss within a week. About six weeks after I started using it, I changed hairstyles and pulled back my bangs for the first time in months. When I looked in the mirror, I thought I had smudged something dark around my hairline and I tried to wipe it off. It turned out to be new hair growth along my hairline. I use the Igrow faithfully, more than is recommended actually and my thin spots have begun to noticeably fill in. I’ve recommended it to my mother, her husband and my brother, all of whom have purchased one and have experienced decreased hair loss in the last few weeks. I’ve read enough reviews to believe that maybe the Igrow does not work for everyone. I’m just glad it’s working for me. I think I paid almost $600 for it on QVC, but I don’t regret it at all. Since it can be returned, I believe it’s worth taking a chance to see if it works for you.

I almost have all my hair back. I had a bald spot in the middle and sides of hair.It takes time to see results. It really works. The shampoos I used really speeded up my results. Thanks I grow

Braile explains, “The differences in the degree of improvement between men and women may be a function of how genetic hair loss presents itself in men versus women. Male pattern baldness is usually located between the top of the ears and the top of the scalp, so men with androgenetic alopecia usually have receding hair lines or a completely bare area on the top of the head, making these baldness patterns difficult to hide. Women, on the other hand, usually keep their hairlines but have diffused thinning throughout the rest of the scalp. This can be far easier to conceal”.

The hands free helmet utilizes 51-light emitting diodes (a combination of LED and laser) for full-scalp coverage and delivers red light at the wavelength of 650-670 nanometers, which has been clinically proven to stimulate hair growth. The recommended treatment protocol for men and women is 20-25 minutes every other day for the first four to six months after which point the device can be used once or twice a week for maintenance.
